Alkane declares maiden $0.02 full-year dividend after strong production, cashflow generation

ASX- and TSX-listed gold and antimony producer Alkane Resources has proposed a maiden dividend of $0.02 apiece for the 2026 financial year, after generating record cashflow of $566-million and meeting the top end of the 2026 production guidance.
In the quarter ended June 30, which marked the final quarter for the company's 2026 financial year, Alkane had gold-equivalent production of 41 491 oz, which contributed to full-year gold-equivalent production of 168337 oz.
Alkane reported site operating cashflow of $174-million in the quarter under review, resulting in a balance sheet with $454-million in cash, bullion and listed investments at the end of the 2026 financial year. Notably, Alkane realised gold prices of $5 442/oz in the quarter, and $24276/t for antimony.
In the reporting quarter, Alkane produced 40949 oz of gold and 456 t of antimony, which was lower compared to the three months ended March 31, owing to planned grade variation across the group. The lower feed grades also resulted in group all-in sustaining costs being higher in the quarter at $3011/oz, compared with $2928/oz in the preceding quarter.
The company owns the Tomingley mine, in New South Wales, Costerfield, in Central Victoria, and Björkdal, in Sweden.
The company has set its 2027 production guidance at between 163000 and 177000 gold-equivalent ounces, with exploration expenditure to expand existing operations expected to be between $55-million and $65-million. Group growth capital is anticipated to total at least $160-million.
Alkane's primary growth projects include the Newell Highway diversion at Tomingley, the development of Brunswick South at Costerfield and the start of development at the Storheden gold deposit, near Björkdal.
