TORONTO - Gold miner Barrick's proposed North American IPO could slide into January 2027, CEO Mark Hill said on Tuesday at the Mining Forum Americas in Colorado, adding that the company was on track to meet results guidance.
Barrick still aims to launch the IPO by the end of this year, but it could be delayed because the company still needs to finish some formalities, Hill said.
Barrick also needs to review its Reko Diq mine project in Pakistan because improved security is required before it can start full construction, Hill added.
