Astute precious metals expert Steinmann joins Lundin Mining board

TSX- and Nasdaq-listed Lundin Mining has welcomed Michael Steinmann to its board of directors following its yearly shareholder meeting.
He joins the other re-elected board members Ashley Heppenstall, Donald Charter, Jack Lundin, Victoria McMilan, Dale Peniuk, Maria Recart and Natasha Vaz.
Steinmann has extensive mining industry experience, as well as strategic insight and proven leadership, says Lundin Mining chairperson Adam Lundin, who was also re-elected in his position.
“With a strong portfolio of high-quality assets and a clear path toward significant growth in copper, gold and silver production, we believe Steinmann’s perspective will further strengthen the board as we position the company for the next decade of value creation,” he adds.
Steinmann is also president and CEO of Pan American Silver Corporation since 2016, with his career tenure including 30 years’ experience in the base and precious metals sectors.
He is also a board member of World Gold Council and current president of the Silver Institute.
