Ionic Rare Earths applies for Aim shares listing

ASX-listed Ionic Rare Earths is applying to list its shares on the Alternative Investment Market (Aim) of the LSE.
Ionic says it has established a significant operational presence in the UK, and believes that the Aim admission will support its growth ambitions, including advancing the Belfast commercial magnet recycling facility currently being developed by Ionic Technologies.
The Aim admission is also expected to enhance Ionic's profile in the UK and Europe and strengthen its capital funding strategy, while increasing engagement with and exposure to investors familiar with the critical minerals and energy transition sectors.
Aim has funded growth-oriented companies in Europe for more than 30 years and its recent rule changes make it an attractive market for a company such as Ionic.
The board believes that the company is at the right stage in its growth trajectory to capitalise on the opportunities presented by a dual listing on a reputable growth market such as Aim, as it progresses commercialisation activities in Belfast, advances opportunities to replicate its proprietary recycling technology internationally, and continues to position itself as a key participant in the development of independent and traceable rare earth supply chains outside China.
Ionic owns a rare earths clay deposit in Uganda as well as a 50% stake in a refining venture in Brazil.
