Lynas appoints Le Roux interim CEO

ASX-listed Lynas Rare Earths has appointed Pol Le Roux interim CEO effective July 1 as it searches for a permanent appointment to succeed Amanda Lacaze, who is set to retire at the end of June.
Le Roux is currently Lynas COO, responsible for operating sites in Malaysia and Western Australia.
Since joining Lynas in 2010, Le Roux has held roles as VP of sales and marketing as well as VP of downstream operations, during which he delivered both sales growth and improved operational performance for the group.
According to Lynas chairperson John Humphrey, Le Roux has more than 20 years of experience in the rare earths industry and is recognised among the company's customers, investors and industry for his extensive knowledge of Lynas' operations and the rare earths market.
As interim CEO, Le Roux will provide continuity and ensure the company continues to progress with its "Towards 2030" growth strategy during the transition period.
Humphrey says Lacaze's 12-year tenure as CEO and MD was transformational for the company and that she will continue to assist with specific projects and be available to support the CEO transition until the end of September.
