UK-based Serabi nears end of drill programme, updated MRE incoming for two Brazilian projects

Ahead of completing its 2026 brownfield exploration programme in October, Aim- and TSX-listed Serabi Gold says its latest high-grade drill results have demonstrated the potential to delineate a larger resource at the Palito Complex and Coringa projects, in Brazil.
Updated mineral resource estimates for both projects are expected during the first quarter of next year.
This year, the company has drilled 9309 m in 42 diamond drill holes at Coringa, which targeted mineralisation to the north-west and south-east of the currently producing Serra and Meio zones. At Palito, the company has drilled 11522 m over 37 drill holes, with a focus on increasing near-mine ounces at the Senna, G3, Barrichello, Massa and Piauí deposits.
The 2026 brownfield exploration programme marks the second year of the group's Phase 2 organic growth strategy to expand the total group mineral inventory to more than 1.5-million ounces.
For context, the 2025 brownfield exploration programme increased consolidated measured and indicated resources to 730800 oz of contained gold.
Overall, the 2026 brownfield exploration programme should total 32000 m across Palito and Coringa, with six drill rigs having been deployed across the two sites.
Results from the programme this year so far include 1.38 m of gold grading 11.85 g/t, 2.2 m of gold grading 5.89 g/t, 1.7 m of gold grading 16 g/t and 1 m of gold grading 10.1 g/t.
Serabi says results obtained to date have supported a number of new prospective models and reinterpretations.
"The exploration team is concentrating efforts on specific priority trends while ensuring continuous coverage of the main zones, enabling a more proactive stance while optimising resource allocation, reduction of rework, and improving overall operations efficiency," says CEO Mike Hodgson.
