Brazilian copper, gold explorer lists on TSX-V

Brazil-focused copper and gold exploration company Prospectiva Resources has started trading on the TSX-V under the ticker 'PSVA'.
The Toronto-headquartered company is advancing a portfolio of 100%-owned projects in the Borborema Belt.
As Prospectiva enters the public markets, it is well positioned to create value through a fully funded drill programme starting this month, which is designed to expand the historical high-grade and near-surface copper/gold mineralisation at the São Francisco project.
The programme will test newly identified electromagnetic conductors across a 3-km-long prospective geological and geophysical trend. The company has appointed ServDrill as the contractor, which has already mobilised to site.
Notable historical high-grade intercepts from São Francisco include 7.5 m of copper grading 6.41% and gold grading 0.36 g/t, 4.5 m of copper grading 5.81% and gold grading 0.48 g/t, and 7.5 m of copper grading 3.83% and gold grading 0.36 g/t.
The company holds another 335 km2 land package that hosts a pipeline of earlier-stage regional gold targets. While São Francisco is the company's primary focus, it is also advancing these earlier-stage targets, with first-pass geological reconnaissance having been completed at the Pico do Jabre and Desterro gold projects in the State of Paraíba - about 30 km north-east of São Francisco, comprising geological mapping, sampling of historical and active artisanal workings, as well as reconnaissance rock samples.
Prospectiva says it is committed to executing a disciplined exploration strategy focused on systemic exploration and target advancement, with the aim of defining a mineral resource estimate next year.
This will be achieved with an experienced leadership and technical team with a proven track record of mineral discovery and project development in Brazil, which Prospectiva deems to be a stable mining jurisdiction with established infrastructure and an efficient permitting framework.
