Cavalier moves to development of Crawford as regulatory approvals secured

All primary approvals needed for the Stage 1 mining development at ASX-listed Cavalier Resources' flagship Crawford gold project, in Western Australia, are now in place, enabling the company to move from permitting to project execution.
"We have taken Crawford through exploration, resource development, technical studies, Native Title, heritage and the regulatory process, progressively removing the major barriers to development and establishing a clear pathway towards production.
"With all primary mining approvals now in place, the development pathway for Crawford is clear. The principal regulatory hurdles are behind us," comments Cavalier interim CEO and executive technical director Daniel Tuffin.
Cavalier says it will now continue site preparation activities, build out the personnel needed for development and work towards finalising project funding.
Cavalier in August announced SSH Mining as the preferred mining contractor for Stage 1 openpit mining at Crawford.
