Richmond Hill appoints Canadian contractor to lead Martello exploration

Aim-listed Richmond Hill Resources has appointed Canadian exploration company Critical Discoveries to lead a technical work programme on the Martello gold project, in Ontario.
The company’s scope of work includes historic data compilation and conversion to modern formats, producing maps and figures summarising key exploration results, analysing geophysical and geochemical trends to identify priority drill targets and providing a preliminary drill targeting plan for Richmond’s maiden drill programme.
Critical Discoveries has been tasked to complete desktop work by January 31.
Richmond CEO Hamish Harris says the board is pleased to start work on the Martello gold project, particularly as the company works to acquire a 100% commercial and beneficial interest in the project.
“It is pleasing that external consultants are able to progress the project on such an expedited basis. With external consultants now appointed on both the Martello and the Saint Sophie projects, there has been significant progress in a short period of time.”
Saint Sophie is a copper exploration project in Quebec, with Richmond having appointed IOS Services Géoscientifiques to lead technical work at that site.
